Crazy for Craize

It’s the little things in life that matter most.

Imagine getting to enjoy a snack-size tostada. That’s exactly what you get with Craize. Plain—they are simple and delicious. Topped—they can turn into any of your favorite salsy, spicy, cheesy bites. They may be little, but they are amazing!

These corn crackers resemble tostada shells in many ways, but no need to heat and eat. Grab one from the bag and enjoy. Take a look at the image of these crackers in the bag. Even though they were shipped to us from Thrive Market in a box with other items much heavier than these crackers, they were all intact. That’s right… no broken pieces. That certainly deserves an IMBHO-yes!

We purchased the Roasted Corn flavor profile for $3.49 (4 oz pouch). Other varieties include Coconut, Guava, Plaintain, Sweet Corn, and Everything toasted corn crackers. IMBHO-yes… we will be trying them all.

The owner and founder of Craize, Leo Cotter, spent five years developing these crackers. In 2013 he had the idea to bring traditional Latin America food into every home, but it wasn’t until 2018 that he finally achieved perfection. It speaks volumes when perseverance drives entrepreneurs to deliver on their vision, and we applaud Leo for spending five years pursuing the dream. A great story behind a great product—kudos to you, Leo!

Craize Roasted Corn crackers are certified gluten free, non-GMO, kosher, and vegan. Ingredients include white corn flour, white corn grits, sunflower oil, dark brown sugar, kosher salt, citric acid and vitamin E for preservatives. It’s a short list of ingredients for a cracker that appears simple, yet provides a complexity to the way it can be used for snacking and mealtime.
