Diabetic granola for the win

While they created this granola with diabetics in mind, it’s keto friendly, too, with only 3 net carbs.

It’s also gluten free, GMO free, has 5 grams of fiber and no added sugar.

Filled with almonds, sunflower seeds, pecans, and coconut that offer a happy crunch and cinnamon overtones, we believe it is one of the best tasting granolas on the market, hands down.

When we opened the bag of granola, cinnamon was prominent, but the other scents of toasted perfection came through, too.

We opted to eat the granola with some unsweetened coconut milk and it made the most perfect morning cereal. The sweetness isn’t overwhelming, but it's there from the organic stevia and monk fruit (last two ingredients on the list).

Vic and Lisa Johnson’s created Diabetic Kitchen when their youngest son, Carter, was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. A couple years later Vic was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, so Lisa went to work creating recipes in her kitchen. It’s an incredible story of building a business out of the need for wholesome food and the love for family.

Diabetic Kitchen gets an overwhelming IMBHO-yes, and with us having family members with diabetes, this company is ever more important to our hearts and our lives.

Be sure to visit the Diabetic Kitchen website or find them on Facebook. They love to stay in touch with all their customers. And tell them IMBHO sent you their way.

Listen to Lisa and Vic tell their story.
