I was reading a study done on a person’s preference for sweet or salty foods according to blood type.

My blood type is B+, so it didn’t surprise me that 79% of people with the same blood type as mine prefer salty over sweet. Salty has always been my go-to and I’ve never been able to end a meal with something sweet. (Read more about the article here.)

This is probably why I like these nuggets of joy called Electro-Bites. Eating these are like eating little salty cookies--so good. My personal favorite is the Salty Pumpkin Spice, with a wonderful spice blend and salty overtone. They are crispy, crunchy with a claim to “Fuel the Miles”.

I’ve tried to be a runner many times in my life, but I have horrible form. I have a sister who floats when she runs, striding out so pretty. That is not in my DNA. I’m more of a choppy runner, short strides that give me a sense of getting nowhere. Frustrating.

This is why my exercise routine consists of lifting weights, briskly walking an inclined treadmill, and hitting the pedals of my Bowflex Max 7. I don’t put in mile after mile, so perhaps this isn’t a product for me personally; but for real athletes and runners who do put in the miles, this is a great product to take on the run, literally. Electro-bites let you refuel on the go.

So maybe I’m not the target market, but I still keep these on hand for times when I need a quick crunch.

They come in individual pouches—super convenient. The cookie bites are the size of small dog kibble. They smell delightful, and while I’ve never eaten dog food, I personally can guarantee they taste much better than dog kibble. :)
