Love good fats...or not...

Right up front, I’ll tell you there were mixed reviews on these snack bars. A couple tasters said straight up no and spit out their bite into the trash immediately; however, a couple of others pondered a bit longer and said, “Not terrible, but not something I would buy again.”

I purchased two different flavor profiles for this review: coconut chocolate chip and peanut butter and jelly flavor. These bars are gluten free, non-GMO and plant-based. They offer up 5 grams of net carbs and 8 grams of protein.

While it was a hard pass for me on the coconut chocolate chip (a huge disappointment), I didn’t think the PB&J bar was as bad. The flavor profile was what I expected, with a taste of peanut butter and raspberry jelly coming through, right along with the raspberry seeds…ugh! But these bars just aren’t good enough to want to experience them again, thus the IMBHO-no.

Suzie Yorke, CEO and Founder of Love Good Fats has spent years researching nutrition and “uncovering misinformation about sugar and fats.” She’s not wrong, and her mission is clear.

I like her message; I just wish I liked her bars.
