In my BRUTALLY HONEST opinion

Simple ingredients; simple flavor

It’s a Tosi toss-up… some taste testers had positive vibes and others not so much.

What’s good about Tosi?

Simple Ingredients

You won’t find a snack with cleaner, more wholesome ingredients. If you’re searching for gluten-free, non-GMO, and organic snacking items, you should give Tosi a try. We purchased the Peanut Dark Chocolate snacks made from peanuts, golden flaxseeds, white sesame seeds, chia seeds and dark chocolate—all organic. With 10 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber and only 11 grams of carbs, this is a good snacking option.

Great Packaging

Tosi snack bars are individually wrapped. This does two things very well. It keeps them fresh and it keeps you from overeating. They are handy to grab, throw in your bag, and head out the door. The outer cardboard packaging protects the bar from breakage prior to eating and also makes it “presentation perfect” for sharing. It just looks cool!

The Story

We are suckers for a good story, and we love that it’s a Mom-Daughter team who co-founded this company. Stef & Chels recognized that eating healthy is difficult, and while most people have good intentions, it’s easy to make poor snack decisions. They recognized the need for a nutrient-dense, clean label snack, and that’s exactly what they created with Tosi SuperBites. Kudos to them for finding their passion and living the entrepreneurial dream. #womanpower

And then the tides turned…

The Taste

Some of our taste testers found Tosi to be lackluster in flavor, while others thought it was okay. We figured the dark chocolate would carry this bar, and it doesn’t. You can taste it, but there is a level of bland at the forefront. It doesn’t taste bad; it just doesn’t have any flavor that carries this bar to a level where you say, “I need another.”

Maybe that was part of the plan. Create a bar that you don’t crave and then you won’t be tempted to indulge. Hmmm… not a good plan if you want to sell your product.

So here we stand in the middle with an IMBHO-Maybe. Some like Tosi for its healthful benefits and some turn their head and say no to the taste. But ultimately this will have to be one you decide for yourself.
