Modern-day superfood

CBD

According to Ryan Crane, cannabis is a modern-day superfood. It is used for anxiety and stress and can help the brain work in a more balanced state during stressful situations.

Three interesting points made by Crane include:

  1. “Daily doses of CBD up to 1500 milligrams are well-tolerated by the body”

  2. “…No public health problems have been associated with CBD use” – World Health Organization (2018)]

  3. “…There is little indication that CBD has abuse potential or presents a significant risk to the public health” and “…No evidence that CBD causes physical or psychic dependence” – Food and Drug Administration (2018)

One of the most interesting points made by Crane is his comparison between caffeine and CBD.

Caffeine and CBD both come from plants, they both are safe to consume, and they both change our energy and mood. And did you know that caffeine was once deemed unsafe?

“In 1909, the federal government filed a claim against Coca-Cola because the product contained caffeine and it was deemed unsafe.”
