A case of mom knows best

Detoxwater is a prebiotic aloe water and it’s really good. But we’ll get back to that in a moment.

What interested me most about this product was the story behind its beginnings. It’s a mom knows best scenario where growing up her answer to everything was drink aloe water. Rightly so, Myong Park (mom), for years suffered from some severe stomach issues, and it wasn’t until she visited a holistic doctor that she found a way to subside her issues. The answer was aloe.

It’s a great story of how a mom and son find the entrepreneurial spirit and turn their life story into a company and outstanding product. If you get nothing else from this blog, be sure to visit their site and applaud their efforts.

Detoxwater contains ACTIValoe®, the highest quality aloe in the world. Backed by over 700 clinical studies, ACTIValoe® is clinically proven to promote healthy hydration, digestive health, radiant skin, and so much more. Read here.

I tried two flavors: Cryptokiwi (kiwi & cucumber) and Pinamint (pineapple mint). I was more skeptical on the Pinamint, since I don’t enjoy pineapple drinks and I don’t necessarily enjoy minty drinks, so I tried it first. I was pleasantly surprised that this combination produced a delicately flavored water that I enjoyed. That revved me up to try Cryptokiwi, and it was so refreshing, with just a hint of cucumber.

IMBHO … it’s a double yes! In fact, I’ve already purchased a third flavor, Mangaloe. I’m positive it will be just as good.

With only 30 calories per bottle, it’s a wonderfully uplifting drink. The carb count is a bit high (if you’re a low-carb eater) at 9 grams per serving, so enjoy half a bottle at a time.
