“do”TERRA…you won’t regret it.

A friend of mine introduced me to doTERRA products. I like holistic approaches to health & wellness; I like diffusing essential oils; I like trying new things. So doTERRA was a good fit for me.

Even with all that said, I was a bit skeptical when it came to doTERRA’s toothpaste. I’ve tried many natural toothpastes—some good, some not great. I’ve also used well-known national brand toothpastes like Colgate and Crest. Of all the toothpastes I’ve tried, I stuck with those offering minty freshness. It’s just what I like. However, doTERRA’s toothpaste is not minty fresh, thus my initial hesitation.

It wasn’t until I learned about doTERRA’s onGUARD essential oil and its benefits did I try their toothpaste, which incorporates onGUARD into the product. Again, not minty fresh, so it was a struggle to adapt to the taste, but otherwise I like it and can feel and see the benefits of using it. It claims to be a natural whitening toothpaste, and compared to other whitening toothpaste brands, I think it stands up to this claim. I also like the fact that it contains essential oils that support the immune system and contain antioxidants.

In full transparency, though, I’ll admit that after I brush with doTERRA’s toothpaste, which I do every morning, I then use a secondary minty fresh toothpaste. I just don’t feel the power of fresh breath with what doTERRA calls “cinnamon-mint”. I need real mint freshness.
