The bread of flowers

Le Pain des Fleurs translates to “the bread of flowers” and in 2020, it celebrates its 20th Anniversary. Staying power is typically indicative of quality, and the quality starts with the company’s vision.

“The brand was born from the desire to be useful to people, respect the land and rely on alternative farming techniques. Today, Le Pain des Fleurs gives you the best of what nature has to offer as the basis for a healthier diet, which is synonymous with well-being and harmony in your daily life.”

These are not your typical bread crisps. They are light and airy with a delicate flavor and texture, yet they are strong enough to hold whatever toppings you choose to pile on. They don’t crumble either, like a regular cracker crumbles, making them easy to eat anytime, anywhere.

They are not meant to eat alone, but are a vehicle for toppings like hummus, guacamole, cheese spread, or anything you can dream up. We’re not fancy people, so we went for the PB&J treatment. They provided the perfect crispy base creating a whimsical and crunchy “sandwich”.

We can see kiddos going crazy over topping these bread crisps with whatever they want. What a great snack! They are organic, non-gmo, kosher and have exactly three ingredients. It’s clean eating at its finest with no added sugars.

We tried the Chestnut Crispbread, but they also have Buckwheat, Quinoa, Onion and Multigrain selections, too. These are fast becoming a favorite of the IMBHO family simply due to their versatility. Tuna salad? How about on an Organic Crunchy Onion Aperitif Crispbread? Yes, please.

We love the product and we love the message of “taking care of you” on the Le Pain des fleurs website. This makes it an obvious IMBHO-yes!

Give into a taste, an idea for an organic, gluten-free toast, a nice composition, a moment to share…”
