Gluten-free snack win
My daughter is gluten free and not by choice. I often eat gluten-free food, but it’s purely choice. There’s a big difference. Because gluten adversely affects my daughter in such a horrible way, we’re always on the lookout for gluten-free products.
Perfection Snacks offers a gluten-free snack mix. My daughter, who constantly scours Amazon for gluten-free options, actually sent me a text and put this on her “try it” list. I looked them up and agreed they would be worth a try, so I ordered them for her.
Little did I know that Perfection Snacks is a woman-owned company. I like that. The story of Amy Holyk, Founder, CEO and mompreneur can be found on the Perfection Snacks website. I won’t tell you more than that, but you should definitely check it out. It’s a great story.
Not only are these snacks gluten free, but there is no MSG. In the Perfections Snacks lineup, there are also vegan options.
The snack mix we purchased has a nice variety of pretzels, cheese curls, tortilla chips and corn chips with a guacamole ranch flavor profile, and it really is tasty. Because the carb content is high (as expected), I won’t be indulging, but this is a great snack mix for gluten-free eaters. It really fills the void on several levels.
The website allows you to search for stores that carry these products. Little did we know we can buy them at Dollar General—not our local one, but one that is only a few miles away. This piece of information will be very handy when we’re ready to purchase again, which we most definitely will.
