HU Chocolate bar.jpg

Organic house-ground cacao—70%; that’s the promise on the package of the HU (Get Back to Human) Salty Dark Chocolate bar. It is Vegan and Paleo, and I also deem it as Keto, since one square of chocolate is all that’s needed to curb the desire for sweet, which equates to only 3 grams of carbs.

This bar is also dairy free, gluten free, kosher, and non-GMO and has a list of “No” claims, including palm oil, refined sugar, cane sugar, sugar alcohols, emulsifiers and soy lecithin. Seems this chocolate bar is darn close to being the healthiest for HUmankind!

I always like a salty/sweet flavor profile, and this bar delivers the perfect blend. It’s not shy on salt and the dark chocolate offers just the right amount of sweet. It’s satisfying, so one square is all you need to conquer the need for something sweet.

Co-founders of “Get Back to Human” (Jordan Brown, Jason Karp and Jessica Karp) were in the same place as many of us are or were… trying to live a healthy lifestyle. It’s not always easy.

“The trio experimented and researched the gut-brain connection, the causes of systemic inflammation, and the impact of certain foods and additives on our health, immunity and performance.” They found the answer through simple, healthier ingredients and used that to create products exemplifying this philosophy.

Be sure to check out the HU website for more information on their products and company. IMBHO… Get Back to Human is stellar in every way possible. Be sure to tell them IMBHO sent you their way.

Besides chocolate, HU offers crackers, which we found interesting. Even better is the slogan on their crackers, “Just say no to crappy crackers.” LOL

Watch for IMBHO to review these crackers in the next few weeks. We can’t wait to try them!
