Eat stress free with Kitchfix

As I tried the Kitchfix grain-free Happy Day Chocolate Chip Granola Bar, I started looking at the Kitchfix website. Because I love the story so much of how this company began, I must share it with you first.

Chef Josh, head chef and founder of Kitchfix, had the opportunity to learn about the power of anti-inflammatory ingredients and superfoods while being a personal chef for a woman recovering from cancer. It occurred to him, as he recognized the high stress in people’s lives in Chicago, that this type of eating could benefit everyone, thus Kitchfix was born. You can read more of the story here.

Not only does Kitchfix offer grain-free grocery items, but if you’re lucky enough to live in Chicago, you can sign up for delivery of chef-crafted meals or have Kitchfix cater your event. This honestly makes me wish I lived in Chicago.

Since I don’t, my focus is on the grain-free products, which include the granola bar I tried…and really, really liked. Right on the box, it states “Not So Sweet” with only 5 grams of sugar per serving. There are zero sugar alternatives added, which is a plus. This limited amount of sugar provided the perfect balance of sweetness--it doesn’t overpower the other flavors in the granola bar. Everything blends perfectly.

One bar gives you 8 grams of net carbs (3 grams of fiber) and 5 grams of protein. The label is super clean, and the product states its claims as Paleo, Non-GMO, Vegan and Gluten Free.

Kitchfix: You nailed it. This granola bar gets a very big IMBHO-yes! This is Midwest perfection.
