Medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil is a fat often used by people who want to lose weight or boost their workout endurance.

This oil contains medium-length chains of fat (triglycerides) that are easily digested and offer many health benefits. Many sources indicate that the body processes these oils differently, which may help you burn more calories.

Additionally, MCT oil has 10% fewer calories than LCTs (long-chain triglycerides) found in olive oil, nuts and avocados.

MCT oil is considered a super fuel that easily enters your cells and provides an immediate source of energy. It can also quickly store itself away in your fat cells, if your body doesn’t burn it off, which is important to note.

There also are some potential side effects to incorporating too much MCT oil into your diet, including digestive issues and raising “bad cholesterol”. So listen to your body and make your own decision on whether or not MCT oil works for you.

Enough of the science lesson, let’s get down to Living Intentions Activated MCT Popcorn: Cheeze Please. It’s vegan, so it’s dairy free. Yet, there is a surprising cheese flavor profile. When you open the bag, it smells like cheese popcorn. When you take a bite, it tastes like cheese popcorn. How do they do it?!

The clean label ingredients give some clue. (popcorn, coconut MCT, coconut oil, nutritional yeast, Himalayan crystal salt, sprouted pumpkin seeds, red bell pepper powder, carrot powder, turmeric extract, & turmeric powder)

Were you surprised by the inclusion of sprouted pumpkin seeds? So were we! Clearly Living Intentions has done its culinary research to pull off a surprisingly cheesy-good popcorn. That gives Activated MCT Popcorn an IMBHO-yes!

Beyond popcorn, Living Intentions has a lot more to offer, including superfood cereal & nut blends, plus sprouted trail mix, nuts and seeds. With a “You are what you eat” mantra, Joshual McHugh, Founder, recognized food can make a difference in how you feel. This led to today’s mission for Living Intentions:
