Our IMBHO-yes comes from the taste and stunning visual of this snack. We opened the bag to green and yellow confetti fun.

These could quickly become a favorite snack; they’re that good. Plus they can be purchased from many retailers including Kroger, Walmart, Target and Amazon. The price is right at around $3.69 per bag, and the label is clean with only a few ingredients.

While we give these veggie crisps a yes, we were disappointed to find out this brand falls under the PepsiCo banner. We like to highlight the startups, mom & pop businesses, women-owned businesses, and products that come from individuals and families who epitomize the entrepreneurial spirit. We love Store Brands because they offer great quality at a low price.

Regardless, we still like this snack, so here’s what we learned.

It was introduced in 2018 at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California, and is part of PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division of better-for-you snacks. Off the Eaten Path is targeted at Millennials, as is the tagline for the brand, “Snacks for the curious”.

So Millennials… does Off the Eat Path speak to you? IMBHO…we’re curious!

On a different note, we were sad to hear the 2020 Expo West event was canceled and will not be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, you can still look at their list of 3,445 exhibitors and 11,110 products (click here). It’s extensive and exciting, and it provides a venue for new company’s and new products making their premier.

Maybe we should attend the 2021 event. What do you think, team?
