The Ordinary is extraordinary

You literally can spend hundreds of dollars on face care products, which often makes them unaffordable for a lot of people. Retinol products can run upward of $185. Peptide Serums, Alpha Hydroxy, and Hyaluronic the same. Pricey!

But what if you could find products that are affordable? What if you could find products that use the same clinical formulations as those ridiculously expensive brands with no testing on animals and are free of parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, and oxybenzone?

Not possible, you say? We say it’s possible, and we found them with The Ordinary.

The Ordinary touts itself as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”. They have science-backed products that are affordable for all women, and the prices are astounding.

The Ordinary is one of several brands that fall under the Diciem umbrella. (Other brands include NIOD, Hylamide, The Chemistry Brand, Abnomaly, Loopha, and HIF. We may have to check these out, too!)

Here’s a list of the products we purchased and what we paid for each of them.

We weren’t kidding. Affordable!

With several of us testing the products, there have been no allergic reactions and everyone seems happy with the results they’re getting. But going back to our original notion, it really is the price that drives our IMBHO-yes. We’re still in disbelief that we found The Ordinary, but excited to try all their products.

Here’s what The Ordinary has to say:

“Everything we do is of exceptional quality. Today, quality is no longer defined by merely price points or distribution channels. Quality today means being authentic, being different, being functional, being beautiful and being sensibly priced, even to the wealthy. And we respect these principles. We choose to serve the educated, the curious and the intelligent who appreciate our dedication to this very genuine definition of quality.”

You can follow The Ordinary on InstagramLinkedIn and Facebook.

You can also purchase these products from the Skin Store, where they have other brands of products as well. This is where we purchased the products we tried for this blog.
