“Bhu (pronounced “BOO”) is a Sanskrit word that means “of the earth.” I had to look that up and found it in the Bhu Foods website. Such a cool company with a cool philosophy. If you get nothing else out of this blog post, be sure to visit their site. It’s easy to get behind a company with such passion.

So let’s talk about Bhu Foods Keto Bites – white chocolate macadamia cookie dough. I purchased these at Whole Foods for $9.99, which is a bit steep considering this gives you only six, individually wrapped keto bites. I do like the fact they’re individually wrapped, so you don’t feel the need to eat quickly. But the bites aren’t very big. I measured them at approximately 2” x 1.5”. It would seem for the price you would get more.

Beyond price, however, these are good Keto bites. I’m not necessarily a cookie dough lover, so I may have gone into this taste test with a preconceived notion that I wasn’t going to like them, but that wasn’t altogether true. Their texture was exactly like cookie dough; the only problem was I felt the need to bake and eat.

What got me was when I hit a touch of salt, which for me, made these bites good enough to take another nibble (a bite would be too big to make them last, so I nibbled and wrote this blog).

I probably won’t buy these again, but not because it’s a bad product. I have never enjoyed eating cookie dough. So it says a lot that I’m giving these a yes vote. Plus, I’m going to share the rest with family and friends, and I know there are some cookie dough lovers who will really like them in their raw state.

Bhu Foods has many more products in its arsenal, and I’m going to try them. Let’s hope the quality they’ve shown in these bites carries through their entire lineup. I’ll let you know.

In the meantime, if you want to learn more about this terrific company and its products, visit the Bhu Foods website.
