These bars are keto friendly, paleo friendly and vegan as well as free from gluten, dairy and soy, so it’s a treat many people can eat and enjoy. They’re not overly sweet, which gives the IQ Bar high marks in our book, and they have great texture.

The six brain nutrients claim on the bar refers to the inclusion of Lion’s Mane (a mushroom that has been shown to protect against neurodegenerative disease), MCTs (provides sustained, slow-burning mental energy), Omega-3s (essential fatty acids), Flavonoids (plant-based compounds found in colorful veggies and fruit), Vitamin E (an antioxidant that has been shown to reduce the speed of cognitive aging), and Choline (good for memory and mood regulation).

Based on just these six brain nutrients alone, we all agreed we should probably consume one of these IQ Bars daily!

The mission of this company is to provide a “crash-free” performance bar that “empowers the do-ers”, the creators, and the “get-stuff-doners”.

Will Nitze, Founder & CEO, became fascinated with the human brain and how it functions while studying psychology and neuroscience at Harvard, which then turned into a passion for researching and prototyping the now IQ Bar. It’s a great story, and the website has the first concept sketch of the product, which is pretty cool.

If you haven’t tried the IQ Bar yet, now is the time, and you can’t beat the deal on getting a trial pack. IMBHO gives the IQ Bar and the company a big yes, and we look forward to seeing what this company does next.
