Safe Key Lime Ready to Bake.jpg

We have raved about the Safe + Fair products in two other blog posts: Birthday Cake Granola and Sweet Jalapeno Pea Protein Chips. Unfortunately, the Key Lime Pie blondies just didn’t measure up.

It wasn’t the flavor, which tasted like a sugar cookie with a hint of key lime, but the texture—very grainy.

We did like the fact that these blondies could be prepared the traditional way, with butter and eggs, or prepared as allergy friendly, using flax seeds and oil.

We mixed up the blondies the traditional way, baking them quite a bit longer than the 25-30 minute recommendation, and ultimately ending up with blondies that didn’t meet our expectations. (We did have a great kitchen helper while we made the blondies, though. LOL)

We won’t purchase the blondie mix again, which disappoints us since there is a birthday cake blondie mix available, but we’ll still visit the Safe + Fair website for its other products.

We have one more blog post on Safe + Fair coming your way, and it’s on the kids’ snacks: Abby’s Cookies and Remy’s Grahams. We’re going to the experts for these reviews, so stay tuned!

If you haven’t already, be sure to visit the Safe + Fair website. Learn about their story and check out their products; we’re sure there will be something you’ll find and love. And let them know IMBHO sent you!
