I’m excited to talk about Shrooms. No psychedelics here, just really tasty, crispy mushrooms. Yes, they actually crunch!

This is another one of those instances where I know there’s a great story behind this product, but I couldn’t find it. What I did learn is Shrooms is a mushroom farm in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, so all the mushroom products they create they also grow. They pegged this as farm-to-finger. I like that, but I want to know more!

The Shrooms product I purchased was the crisps. I went into this thinking there’s no way they can make a mushroom crispy, but that’s exactly what they did. Even better, they taste great! I don’t get a big umami or earthy flavor profile from these mushrooms, which is possibly lost in the crisping process, but in terms of a salty snack, these really are terrific.

I purchased the sea salt crisps because I didn’t want any additional flavorings covering up the natural mushroom flavor, but now I’m headed back to purchase some of the other flavor profiles, which include pizza, spicy jalapeno, and mesquite BBQ. It’s an easy decision for me to give these crisps an IMBHO-Yes. I really do like them that much.

Shrooms also offers mushroom jerky (which I’m guessing has more of the mushroom chew you would expect) as well as bars and splits. Splits are interesting—it’s a part mushroom/part jerky combo package. I’ve not tried any of these, but perhaps I will someday. For now, I’m sticking to the crisps because they offer me the long, lost crunch I often find myself searching for on Keto.

I purchased my Shrooms on Amazon and actually got a pretty sweet deal. There was a $3 coupon attached to my purchase, so I paid $2.99 for a bag of Shrooms (and free shipping). That doesn’t happen every day, but thank you, Amazon. I appreciate the savings.

Be sure to visit the Shrooms website (itsamushroom) for more information about their products, and tell them IMBHO sent you.
