Siete es mucho delicioso!
Back in high school, I fell in love with Mexican food and the culture. I could do without many different foods, but I’m pretty sure I couldn’t live without Mexican food.
Veronica Garza, the president of Siete, was diagnosed with multiple auto-immune disorders that prevented her from enjoying the delicious food she grew up on. Veronica experimented in the kitchen to make variations of their family’s favorite recipes. She used ingredients that were better for her to eat: grain-free and low in inflammatory properties. Her grandma was impressed with the results, and so am I!
These churros were amazing! As soon as I popped one in my mouth, I was in love. They have a light and crunchy texture. The scent is subtly sweet, and the sweet cinnamon flavor is spot on! I snuck one in my husband’s mouth while he was fixing his phone screen, and he stopped in his tracks, forgetting what he was doing because this snack is so, so good! My kids loved them, too!
Our 5 oz bag came from the Thrive Market for $4.79. You can also find these at Dillons, Target, Safeway, Costco, Whole Foods and more! There are many different products listed on their website. You can purchase several varieties of chips, sauces, seasonings, cookies, beans, tortillas and even taco bundles.
I love the story behind this company! Both videos below elaborate, but basically the Garza family all rallied around their oldest daughter when she was diagnosed with multiple health issues. The family adjusted their lifestyle and eating habits to help Veronica live her healthiest and happiest life. I am so inspired by their family-focused business!
